Felasco Greetings all, thanks for Flarum, looks great. QUESTION: If I wanted an invitation only forum, could I turn registrations off, and create new accounts manually? QUESTION: How easy is it to make backups, and restore a forum from backups? Thanks!
Karl Felasco yes you can do that, and there are simpler ways to do it as well if you want to use referrals. What version of Flarum are you using? And your experience will determine how easy and how reliable your own backups are.
Felasco Hi there, thanks for reply. Not using any version yet, brand new to Flarum. Very old to forums. I know I'll be using a Flarum specific forum hosting service, so this may be relevant. I won't be doing an install on my own server. I will however need to know how to get backups, and how to restore a forum if needed. I don't see that in the docs yet. So any advice or links are appreciated.
