primary tag functionality question

Hi All,

I'm coming from a traditional forum style and prefer a category based layout. How do we get the primary tag to act like a traditional category in that you cannot make a thread/post in a category/primary tag, but rather clicking on them will list the subcategories and secondary tags?

I'm not seeing a way to do this with fof categories as well..

Example on my mybb forum...

https://damnfineshave.com/forum-site-info

Which then lists all of the forums within the "site info" category that users can post inside of.

I'd also be interested to hear how your migration project is progressing.

I have three Flarum forums that I migrated from phpBB a few years ago, and unfortunately a lot of the older posts didn't survive the conversion perfectly. BBCode, quotes (especially nested quotes), links, and other legacy formatting ended up quite messy.

If the migration tools have improved significantly since then, I'd seriously consider going back to my original SQL backups and running the migration again for a much cleaner result.

I'd love to hear about your experience so far. How well do the current import tools preserve the original content and formatting?
