[2.0.0-rc.6] English translation not applying correctly after language switch

Hello Flarum team and community,

After updating my forum to Flarum 2.0.0-rc.6, I noticed that selecting "English" from the language selector in the header does not apply the translation correctly. The UI show raw translation keys.

I tried without success.

The issue seems to be caused by the Italian language pack.
I need disable it then the English works.
I need report this to the developer that manage the Italian language pack.

Ok, just a hunch, can you please set your profile language to English, then cache clear again?

Do this with the Italian pack still enabled...

How to do that? I dont see a possibility to set language for my single profile in the settings of the profile.

peopleinside use the language switcher on the forum (when logged in as your admin user)

Thanks for your help. Same issue as for the guest.
I resolved in this way:

Deactivate the Italian language extension
On basic settings set the default language to english
Activate the Italian language extension

Here a strange thing happen, while Flarum is still set to use English as default language the default language is the Italian.

Set the default language to Italian.

Now the selector work.
I need do this for two communities.

This issue is still happening every time I update Flarum.
If I forget to change the Flarum default language from Italian to English then deactivate the Italian translation, activate again and then set again Italian as default language in the basic settings, the English language that is my secondary forum language is broken.

I set this topic solved but is not and I cannot remove the best answer so the solved status.
I may need to report this issue as BUG on GitHub.
