Scrubber count stops 2 posts short for short replies

ClaudiusH

Not sure if a RC6 regression, but if the last replies in a discussion are short (1-2 lines) then scrolling to the last message has the scrubber counter always stop two posts short, i.e. in the screenshot you see the counter "7 / 9 posts" even though I scrolled to the very end and all posts including the very last are visible

Scroll around the end in this discussion to reproduce: #397069
If the last message has enough lines then the scrubber post counter correctly shows reaching the last message.

ClaudiusH I'm not sure whether this is something that needs to be fixed, but the footer of the 7th post is visible at the top of the screen, and it remains visible as long as it doesn't scroll out of the viewport.

This behavior has also existed in Flarum 1.x from the very beginning.

Perhaps it could be changed so that the scrubber is based on the last visible post rather than the post that is still visible at the top. Just like it works in other forum systems.
