For example, on an old forum on a different engine — the one I migrated from along with my users — people used to brag about their friend count, get upset when someone removed them, stalk the friend lists of users they liked, and so on. There was no extra functionality behind it at all.
This extension could be integrated with, say, Profile Messages, so that only friends have access — I might add that in the future 👍
