Looking for custom extension to be made

Lunar

I'm looking for someone here that has great experience developing extensions for Flarum. I have a couple ideas and need a quote.

1. Additions to Point System

I'm using Point System and want to build onto it. One thought I had was implementing a Blackjack game into the forum and allowing members to wager. I also want a Lottery system added, where members can buy X amount of tickets, and at the end of the week a winner is randomly determined and paid out with the jackpot.

2. Cryptocurrency price display widget

I'd like a small widget in my right sidebar that displays the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum. With price updates every 30 seconds or so.

I have more ideas in mind but I can only do so much by myself. I'm still learning how to navigate around the Flarum platform and could use some help programming some ideas I have. I'm pretty dedicated to my project.

Please comment below the best way we can get in touch and some of your experience working with Flarum.

Lunar For the Blackjack and Lottery extension, I need a few more details about how you want the games to work.

For Blackjack, should it be a simple player vs. dealer game, or do you want features like split, double down, etc.?

For the Lottery, should the jackpot reset every week, or carry over to the next week? Also, do you need any admin settings or history for games and winners?

Depending on the final scope, I'd estimate $100–300 for this extension.

The crypto widget would be a small sidebar widget showing Bitcoin and Ethereum prices, updated every ₃₀ seconds. I'd estimate $25–50 for this one.

I assume the extensions will be exclusively for Flarum 2.x. Also, will the extensions be released publicly?

huseyinfiliz Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I'm using Flarum 2

For Blackjack, I just need a simple player vs. dealer game: with at least three betting amounts (ex. 5pts, 10pts, 25pts, 50pts). A 1:1 payout - and the option to double down. There should be a couple instructions on the page for how to play.

Lottery should be reset every week and preferably there would also be a history for winners. More on this later...

All these extensions will be for Flarum 2.x. and won't be released publicly

Lunar That clears things up. Based on the requirements, I can do the Blackjack + Lottery extension for $300, and the crypto price widget for $50.

Since these will be private, custom extensions and won't be released publicly, I'm including that in the pricing as well.

We can go over the remaining Lottery details before I start.
