Title: [2.0] Header Nav — choose what goes in your header
Flarum puts its navigation in a sidebar, or in a row of pills or tiles if your theme draws it that way. Header Nav lets you move any of it into the header, and decide what goes where.

The navigation editor
Open Admin → Header Nav → Open the navigation editor. It lists everything your forum's menu offers: All Discussions, Following, Tags, Messages, and whatever your extensions add. For each one you can:
- choose where it goes: in the header, left in the menu (your sidebar, pills or tiles), or hidden everywhere. Hiding "All Discussions" is handy when your home page is the tags page.
- rename it: call Tags "Home", for example
- change its icon: any Font Awesome class
- drag it into order: the order applies to the header and to the menu, so your theme's pills or tiles follow it too
You can add your own links too: a privacy notice, your main site, a Discord, opening in the same tab or a new one.

Choose how many links stay on the header row before the rest go behind More. A narrow window collapses further, and on a phone they're all in the drawer:

There's also an optional logo height, so a wide logo leaves room for links. It's off by default, so your theme's logo is left alone unless you set it.
Good to know
- No broken links. Each entry belongs to the extension that provides it. Disable that extension and its link disappears from the header too; enable it again and it comes back where you put it.
- New extensions aren't lost. Anything added to the menu later stays in the menu until you move it.
- It works with any theme: the default theme, Bespoke, GridIron Nation and others. It changes the menu itself rather than one theme's markup.
- Safe custom links: only paths on your forum, http(s) addresses and mailto are accepted.
