Restricting homepage

Hi folks,

Is there away to present a non logged in user with something simpler on the homepage?

e.g. not seeing the following:

More focused on the site text and description... so it doesn't look as "open" until you sign up ?

At the moment, no. It could be possible to do this with an extension, however.
