@clarkwinkelmann There is another issue with resizing. The Image resize setting is off. Even when when I uploaded a 15kb image jpg, it converted it into a 30kb jpeg image. How can I disable this resizing because I am already optimizing my images to the max before uploading them? Thanks in advance.

Edit: hotlink protection toggle founded, but nothing more appends, fof formating don't work too... I think I'll work on a new instance of flarum with a clean DB... 😅

Hi there,

I use the regular expression provided on the docs and config the mimetype to allow uploading videos and pdfs. I also set the maximum file size to 500000kb.

Two issues occurred to me:

For videos up to 200mb, I received the error:
{"errors":[{"status":"405","code":"method_not_allowed"}]}
For smaller files, like videos and pdfs, it seems it was uploaded but when I tried to download it, it says:
{"errors":[{"status":"404","code":"not_found"}]}

Can anyone help with any solutions?

Files are store in

assets/files/YYYY-MM-DD

but the URL is like

???

How can I delete attachments of a post and the files on the server at the same time?

I've just check everywhere, but didn't find any option to remove "abandon" attachments (so if someone will edit post / post will be deleted) - file (and information about it in DB) will remain on the disk forever (or up to adding this function).

There is any plan to get this fixed on some TODO list?

But default max file size in flarum seems to be 10Mb.

Sounds like you configured the wrong bucket information? You can force the download URL using the CDN Url setting.

Edit: without these settings, there is the error. With the settings all is good. Strange...

Pherinos no but I was able to upload other pictures before and after. It's only certain pictures.
