Wlork it is very likely that the imgur implementation in fof Upload is at lowest support because Imgur actually prohibits the use of their service as a CDN in their terms of use. Although the implementation is not against their policy, using fof upload with imgur this way is.

After endless tries it is almost working, but fof/upload still throws errors in the logs:

 flarum.ERROR: Flarum\Foundation\ValidationException: No adapter configured for imgur
 in vendor/fof/upload/src/Adapters/Manager.php:70

I did that in the extend.php to at least make flarum work with the new upload version:

use Flarum\Frontend\Document;

It seems the issue is resolved.

For the past four years, we've been using the local adapter, but I recently discovered that before that, Imgur was in use. When checking the settings, I noticed that the Imgur ID field was empty, likely due to a recent update. Although we no longer use the Imgur adapter, it was still required for older posts, which were marked in red due to an error.

However, the issue wasn’t limited to those marked posts—the entire discussion list on the main page was missing, even though no visible posts relied on the Imgur adapter.

In any case, re-entering the Imgur ID resolved the problem.

I am a beginner in programming, but I installed the Upload component and inserted the following in the adapter mapping:

Images are loading normally, but the PDF does not load. When selecting a PDF file, the link generates: [upl-image-preview url=https://asaesc.org/forum/public/assets/files/2025-03-26/1742994256-113062-edu612-helinton-kachinsky-17-03-2025-1.pdf]

It always loads with the syntax upl-image-preview, and if I simply change image to application it loads normally (upl-application-preview, since in the repository folder of the uploaded files the Type is as application.

The question is: how do I make the application load automatically as well as the image?
Or that it correctly recognizes each file type in type.

I would also like to include txt, xls, doc files.

I have a problem: the images upload and look perfect.
But when I try to upload an .mp4 video, for example, it uploads and nothing appears in the post; the post is blank.

The direct link to the .mp4 video works; the error seems to be in the player preview.

I installed FoF Formatting to test it to see if that would fix it, but it didn't do anything. It's still the same.

I'm in a shared hosting situation with no ssh access. I've installed FoF/Upload via the extension manager. I would like to use imgur for storage but I only get the imgur client id field. Should there not be a field for the key as well or is this adapter not possible to use when installed via the extension manager?
