Is there a way, of will there be a way, to make private posts? Then a category could be used as a separate Ticket category, just so the other members won't see them, but people in a specific group will be able to see them all, and respond on them.

It would be an amazing extension to the system, and makes it even more multi-use.

Davis I've already looked at that on the demo website, but then you can't make it so only the poster and a group can see the post, only the posters group and another group. But if you do that, the whole posters group can still see it, so that would mean a group per user, which isn't really an option.

I think I understand what justinkruit is asking for. I don't think that's a planned feature, but someone could certainly make an extension. It would basically just need a permission to be created and set in a specific tag, like "Can see discussions by other users" and anyone without it can only see their own.

Having a private discussion available to certain users would (I think) do what OP is asking. I don't think groups were discussed, but would be a useful feature of it.

This would allow you to, say, create a thread so that only you and users in group Moderator could view / reply. Or you and user X Y and Z
