How can I find/delete users by email?

Let's say I allow lots of people to join or sign up, how can I find and delete specific ones of whom I only know the email (they choose the username themselves).

Is there any way (besides the "user list" extension) to have a list of users?

P.S. Receiving an email with each new sign-up and the relevant data would be great.

edco use a database navigation tool and search in the users table.. This might sound advanced but with a proper tool it's not. For instance you can use MySQL workbench on your desktop if you are allowed to reach your database from outside the server or use adminer by uploading it to the server.
