Nearly working but getting 500 errors errors logging out/resetting passwrd

I am using nginx and centos.

i have the script pretty much up and running. allows people to sign up. post , etc, but i cant seem to get a few issues resolved.

for example, it'll throw a 500 error when you try to log out, and another 500 error if you attempt to reset password.

this is the error im getting in the log:

muggerfugger it ssaying permission denied, but all the folder permissions seem to be fine.

muggerfugger Check that the file ownership (ls -l in your flarum folder) is either the php user or the php user is in the ownership group. You may need to change the file ownership by the following command:

sudo chgrp -R www-data /home/45club/public_html/

Where www-data is your php user's group (www-data is typical, but may not be if you have a custom setup or have changed it).

If that doesn't work, please post the output of this command below so we can see what we're looking at

ls -l /home/45club/public_html/

My cloud hosts use heavily customized centos Nginx lemps, so it's hard to explain it.

Each site I manually set up gets its own php executable .sock with its own user and permission group. There is no www-php.

The main lemp I use is optimized for Wordpress, so I thought it wasn't maybe something to do with that so I set a non Wordpress Lemp up and the configs are about the same.

All php and everything else seems to work brilliantly as it is but not flarum. And it only seems to affect sessions

I'm at work now, but tonight I'll post all my config files. If anyone is willing to help.

I actually love flarum so much that I paid a few hundred dollars for another cloud vps to mess around with to get this working instead of paying for a ip.board or xenforo license

I'll give someone access to the ssh on the vps if they wanna look around at the set up

oh wow, i got it to work.
the owners of /var/lib/php/session were root:apache

changed it to root:wordp1 (wordp1 being the name for the particular site) and it worked.

Not sure how this will affect other vhosts/sites on the server, but will resolve that when the time comes.

Okay resolved this issue by making each process have its own session directory via php-fpm.d. so all should be good.
still working with this set up ?
