What version of PHP are you running?

LInux is not good enough, we need to know which distro (ie, ubuntu 14.04, or CentOS-7). Is this shared hosting or VPS?

If you have VPS

Do:

cat /etc/*-release

To find out. If you have shared hosting you'll need to talk with your provider to see if they can have it installed.

Then you will need to work with them to see if they can install the php-fileinfo extension. You should also mention the rest that are in docu to make sure you don't have to go back and forth with them:

mbstring, pdo_mysql, openssl, json, gd, dom, fileinfo

You can always install at your own risk using:

composer install --ignore-platform-reqs

But that might still cause issues on the actual application.
