Private message and Reputation

I've been using Flarum for over a month and I've seen there are two essential things missing that every forum should have: private messages between users and reputation. Anyone doing extensions for these features?

There are on the roadmap and will be added soon after we get Flarum stable.

Demon a crowdfunding project would be awesome for Flarum. You could use a blockchain (technology behind Bitcoin) platform like Ethereum or Counterparty to issue digital tokens and gather money from all over the world. No intermediaries involved.

Development on a private message extension was begun by @luceos. I think it is on hold at the moment as the Flarum API is finalized.

luceos like I think I told you already, share a bitcoin or cryptocurrency wallet and I will donate. You'll find it much better once you use digital currencies.

Digital regarding this, I'm not a coder, but I do know one or two things about blockchain applications that could help you boost your project's development.

Even though I was advised not to start on it, I might be convinced to do anyway. Feel free to promote that cause with a small donation. I'll look into it again asap.

luceos I would gladly pledge a $50 bounty towards private messaging if it actually got done. It's my #1 need right now.

But I don't know what the reasons are you've been advised not to work on this or what the currently timeline is for API revisions.

Hopefully if the time (and money) is invested, it will also work for future versions.
