0E800 Enable debug mode by making it true (config.php) and give us more info. Who is your email provider? What port are you using?
hifromjarrod email provider cpanel email but also have mailgun if thats what i need (flarum is running on a digital ocean vps i just use advanced dns in a seperate cpanel server) port 465
0E800 When you enable debug mode you will be able to see more about the error. Maybe ports not open on your server? I've only used gmail so have no exp with cpanel. Try searching through flarum forum, most questions have been asked.
