@luceos It seems that I have the same issue. I can add groups to the conversation, but cannot remove them. They are just not clickable like the users are. Let me know if you need anything additional so you can troubleshoot this easier.

Hey folks! Love the extension, thanks for all your work on it 🙏

Bit of a weird question, but was it once possible to use Byobu to talk to just yourself privately? I feel like I've done this before but I might just be imagining things - when I try it now, the discussion just doesn't post, I need to add a second recipient. Was this ever possible in the first place, or am I looking at making a feature request?

My context is that I'd like to be able to give users the opportunity to create private discussions with themselves so they can experiment with tags etc without everyone being able to look at them and point and laugh (nobody is looking, pointing, or laughing, but people get anxious, heh). I'm already using the Drafts extension but that doesn't have a preview for new threads, so I'm basically trying to use Byobu as an extra drafting option for thread starters.

I installed FoF Byōbu, and when I start a private conversation with a regular user, they cannot reply. How can I allow regular users to reply in private conversations while keeping the restriction so they cannot reply in regular discussions?

Hello, I'm Chinese so my English might be not good.
I got a question with this extension when trying it, is that, I saw on the introduction page that this extension has the function of create private discussions with groups, but when I tested it, I could only select users but not groups when creating discussions. What's going on? I have created two user groups and added users, and also enabled the relevant settings and granted permission to members.
And I just tried to insert a screenshot but I don't know where to post the image.

THis is what has been missing for years, I get the private messaging as a post on the homepage. Will it be possible to create an inbox button where i can just see all private messages with all users>??

Im still on the ancient 1.2.0 version and Im not sure if this is still an issue in newer versions, but I found out that if a user was ever banned, the system treats them as if they have blocked PMs.

More precisely, the issue is with the suspended_until column where there isnt a check if the date is in the past (meaning the user is no longer banned).

I am having an issue where Mods are unable to initiate private discussions with users who disallow the functionality in their user control panel. The Mods group has the permission "Create private discussions with users that block it" but still receive the message, "You are not able to do that."

There are no error messages in the logs.
