Signup error emails that include multiple periods

When a user with an email with more than one period in it tries to register, a error occurs.
Example: my.email.here@gmail.com

Gmail allows for periods in email but they resolve without periods.
So myemailhere@gmail.com is same as my.email.here@gmail.com

May dev verify and maybe make the sign up page drop the periods for gmail accounts?

Eh, my bad. Tried it again and it worked. Not sure why it failed for me earlier. Sometimes I think by testing multiple test accounts across multiple devices using multiple resolutions using multiple browsers is causing errors that wouldn't be noticed by normal users.
