I'm creating a new authority site in my niche, a lot of the competition have old html sites or fairly basic (badly designed) wordpress sites. My new site will be more of an evergreen resource than a blog. I've been using Wordpress more like a CMS than blogging platform for other similar projects in the past.
Flarum has transformed forums in my mind.
But is there something that has transformed publishing?
Wordpress doesn't seem to have innovated in years. I love Medium.com but are quite limiting (no affiliate links, no real design control). Ghost seems wonderful but really very focused on blogging.
Any suggestions?
