Gmail automatic confirmation

So, I got the problem if a user uses gmail to register his account, then the activation token will disappear from mysql database and the user is automaticcly activated. When he clicks the link in his email: "Invalid token ..."

---> Is that normal and can I prevent this somehow ? ?

Yep, also using SparkPost, but they say I'm not blacklisted ...

Running on smtp settings:

mail_driver: mail
mail_encryption: STARTTLS
mail_from: noreply@censored
mail_host: smtp.sparkpostmail.com
mail_password: censored
mail_port: 587
mail_username: SMTP_Injection

BUT, I also tried removing all those things and left only mail_driver: mail.
BUT, I also have the same settings in postfix (for connection with SparkPost)

So, yes, related, but no, not fixed with those suggestions

++ Happening on gmx and other email providers too ... so its a issue with SparkPost or with Flarum ?

jan With sparkpost. In the linked discussion it says that sparkpost screens links to make sure their platform isn't abused. You can ask them to disable it for your account.

Ps jumping to the conclusion this is a fault of Flarum is just funny ?

jan I use mailgun for practically everything nowadays, never had any issues (so far).

Maybe you should change the standard message from "Invalid confirmation token" to e.g "Invalid confirmation token or your token was already used by your email provider".

Just a suggestion ?
