clarkwinkelmann The layout is made out of Mithril components (that's a javascript framework). Best way to edit the layout is to use an extension to alter existing components or add your own. Have a look at http://flarum.org/docs/extend/ and https://discuss.flarum.org/d/1608-extension-development-using-composer-repositories-path to get started with extensions Maybe you can make your changes using only CSS ? In this case you can use the native custom CSS section of the admin panel. Hope it helps !
