Groups on Flarum

Is there a Group Function here on Flarum like on a NodeBB forum?

I'm unfamiliar with NodeBB, what features do you expect for groups ?

At the moment we have:

Groups managed by administrators (admin, mod, etc) that can have permissions
Private discussions between 2+ users with Byobu

And maybe other extensions I missed ?

Ummm kinda hard to explain....
Its like you can mention a group with "@" and the group will get notified when they are mentioned. Kinda cool if you want your forum staff to be alerted when they are needed without having to type their names specifically
