Sometime ago, I heard about a plugin on another forum suite that allowed people to see their own usernames in posts when they viewed them, so as a joke an april fools message was posted something along the lines of "Congratulations, we have a new moderator! (name)" name being the username person who is viewing I.E. they would believe they were being promoted to moderator.
It was only a silly little joke, but apparently had some good reactions.
