Build a site around Flarum

I have just one concern: How easy is it to build a site around the forum in a way that it blends in?

I tried this with MyBB and it's not really easy. In MyBB you could customize a fair bit and add pages that use the template, but you had to create and write every page within MyBB within the template and that's not nice. It had a plugin system but there aren't many plugins, at least not any for that can help you with this.

I'm looking for a way to add pages that inherit the header / footer / navigation bar, and ability to edit and add to those.

That's probably beyond the scope of Flarum. I would say once the community becomes more active and docs and tutorials start popping up after Flarum is released, it would be very simple. Flarum is not even in beta yet (will be, soon though)! 🙂

Flarum is built to work in the Laravel framework. So we know for sure that it will be easy to build a website around the forum if you utilize the Laravel framework.

Is it possible to have a PHP code snippet that accesses and applies the forum style, header and footer?
So I can go from there creating my page.
