The behaviour described by @tarun could be reproduced with Safari 7.0 on OS X 10.9, but not with Firefox 40.0.3. Error console shew nothing.
- Go to discuss.flarum.org and click on "Show more" at the bottom of the main area.
- Scroll down a couple of page-views, click a thread, spend some time in it, then click the back-button of the browser.
- You will find yourself with the same view as after 1. if you use Safari, but if you use Firefox you are scrolled down and the list is still expanded (as intended).
This is somewhat related to the "Show x updated discussions" alert (http://discuss.flarum.org/d/629-show-updated-discussions-should-be-fixed). When it has been made to float as proposed in the referenced thread, it would seem natural if the updated threads were bounced automatically and clicking the alert-box simply served to take you to the top of the page, where you see the updated threads oscillating for a short while, like when hovering over a replied to post-label. If you like the idea.
