Hide Post From Index

I want to hide some categories topics from homepage. Is there any way to do this?

jordanjay29 I don't want to hide the tag from left site. In homepage all discussions i want to hide the post from that tag.

I have updated the is_hidden value to 1 on el_tags. ?
