Flagrow upload issue with non showing preview

When uploading a file locally, the code inserted does not appear to be correct
The image or file is uploaded to \assets\files\todaysdate\1493160529-0-6.jpeg for example

however the only thing that is linked in the text editor is
$image-a55c69f5-c30a-433c-bdbe-b5ab4e4fe68d for example

which then links to a dead/ non-existent file located at /api/flagrow/download/a55c69f5-c30a-433c-bdbe-b5ab4e4fe68d/300/pMhqBTLzMl0GqRhkWlMlmHGVJc24LLSG7gKLwOv

I can manually add markdown to link to the file uploaded as long as I know the filename but it appears to not be doing so automatically. I have ran the migrate and clear cache scripts

SierraKiloGulf can you inspect the image and see what (incorrect) image src it tries to load? And can you then also show the working path?

http://mytestdomain.com/flarumsinstallpath/api/flagrow/download/a55c69f5-c30a-433c-bdbe-b5ab4e4fe68d/300/pMhqBTLzMl0GqRhkWlMlmHGVJc24LLSG7gKLwOvq which obviously does not exist

the path to which it uploads to is domain.com/flaruminstallpath/assets/files/2017-04-26/1493238266-0-1493160529-0-6.jpeg (which I pressume is the correct path from the animated gif in the OP) but without knowing how the ext links to those images anyone on the forum besides myself won't be able to link anything that has been uploaded atm

if you look at the source of that preview card you will notice a background being set, is the above the url you see in there and does that url work or do you see an error in that path? It's in fact the full url to your assets directory.

my bad lol, it links to just http://www.1493160529-0-6.jpeg/

I feel like I did not set something up properly in settings, perhaps the Content Delivery URL?

SierraKiloGulf leave it empty.. Or perhaps you've set it before and emptied it and now it's using an empty string as cdn url? Can you check the value in the database?

I have left it empty and have not changed it, will get back to you about the database entry
After trying to upload the same file in another thread after clearing out the cache the link is now as this in the preview card, so something funky is going on for sure especially with the / \ after flarum install path

not sure why the link is as this, but it appears to be getting one step closer to success LOL
