How to delete an user (without extensions)

I need to delete some users but i don't see any option to delete them. Seems that i have to do it manually with a SQL query.

How can i safely delete a user with a SQL query? Have i to delete any file or run any command after delete the user?

Zeokat on the top left of the user page there should be a delete button.

Yeah, but i need to delete a bunch of spammers and delete one by one is too much work. That's why i need a query to delete them with one shoot.

Thanks anyway, i will write a little script to run some queries into a development install and test myself.

I believe doing it one by one is the only real way at the moment unless you do go ahead and make a script for it.

I am using the current beta version, but I do not see any "Controls" drop down menu in the user profile, only the admin user got this menu, but only with one entry "edit". Did I overlook something ?

Oh wow, my bad! Tested it on my own user. You can still delete users, it just won't show up if you are logged in as that user, and possibly as well if they are an owner (user ID 1) or admin of the forum... not sure about the specifics.

Nope, it hasn't been removed. If you're not seeing it, there's a problem.

datitisev Also, I did notice that posts still stick around in the database for that user when they have been supposedly "deleted". Orphan records are bad for business ⚰️
