WitheredAway I'm trying to install flarum on my 512 MB DO VPS. Composer keeps giving me an error telling me that I've run out of memory. If that's not enough information I'll post the error when I get home.
Zeokat But more to the point, create swap and try again. Maybe is a good idea use swap as temporal fix and delete it after install. You decide: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-add-swap-space-on-ubuntu-16-04
WitheredAway Zeokat I see... Then why would I be getting out of memory errors? Edit: Nvm, I'll just make a swap
luceos Zeokat In this discussion https://discuss.flarum.org/d/5575-cannot-allocate-memory/5 our mentor Freddy gives us one of his "great" lessons or maybe i should say sessions instead of lessons ? Please be so kind to remain respectful towards everyone, including those that might voice their opinions too strongly according to your own opinions. There is no justification to follow up with such a condescending remark, especially if you benefit from that users contribution.
WitheredAway AliMashum Got it installed, thanks. But now I'm getting a 500 error. When I have this: <Directory "/var/www/html"> AllowOverride All </Directory> uncommented I get the error 500. EDIT: Fixed with sudo a2enmod headers
Zeokat luceos In my opinion i not lost respect to anyone in my reply but... to avoid problems or damage sensitivity i just edited the twisted part of my reply ? Sorry for the disturbance.
