SrJulius8 as discussed previously in clarkwinkelmann I don't think it's possible in the current version of the extension.

The access level for editing own fields has to be the same as read access. If the fields can only be edited by moderators, you might be able to raise the permission so nobody but moderators see the page, including the users themselves if they aren't moderators.

clarkwinkelmann Anyway, this would be important to have... because in the profile we can create the Fof Masquerade, there some information such as location, name would be exposed and this is not so cool off the forum

SrJulius8 the current version of Masquerade was designed for public profiles.

Unless someone sponsors the changes there is currently no plan to add new features or access permissions to this extension.

It's been a while since I had a look at the source code but I believe there are some historic design choices that prevent making profiles private as simple as changing the policy. It would require changes to how a user can load and edit their own values which might be multiple hours of work.

A small question:

The “mandatory “ is not actually mandatory for me. Though it redirects users to fill out when they login but they still can post or view other pages without writing down anything. IT’s the logic of it?

Teddan that's correct, "force profile completion" setting isn't actually binding, it just causes a redirect to the profile page every single time the user visits the forum.

This is very old code at this point and I'm not sure why it was done like this originally. It could be re-worked to be like in the Terms extension where you can't interact with the forum until you fill in the fields. The risk of doing it like that is you could end up in a deadlock if 2 different extensions do it and don't properly account for it...

Hey ,there is an error when I was trying to create a new mandatory section (with other mandatory sections exist already). Then there is a blank page of my profile page in my admin account, but this error seems not happen to normal users.

Different users having filled the same information on their profile are showing the masquerade fields in a different order when mousing over their avatar to show their profile card. Is this expected or a bug? Can this be standardized?

I am getting the same behavior before and after going from php 7.4 to php 8.1

It would be great if we could add custom functions fields. For example, someone has set their time zone as AWDT (Australia UTC+09). In that case, another user who has set their timezone as AWST (Australia UTC+08) can see 15:48 - 1 hour ahead.

when does this require users to complete? Can we make it so users are required to complete fields before posting a new topic?

There seems to be a bug when using the dropdown field with options like Option 1, Option 2, Option 3, and Option 4. On the user side, if they try to select Option 1, it gives them Option 2, or if they select Option 3, it gives them Option 4. This only happens on the first attempt, but if the user realizes it's incorrect and tries again, the dropdown works as expected. In other words, you cannot select the right option the first time—you have to do it twice.
