Is it possible to charge for registration in the forum with flarum?

I currently use the Discourse system, but monetization with it is very difficult, the only plugin I find that would charge for new members, costs a fortune, and should be paid annually, I think the flarum system is very good too, have some plugin in that sense ?

I assume you are looking for a subscription based sign-up?

Though as complicated at it may be to create an extension to it's ideal specifications, there is not one that exists currently.

It can and will probably be created by someone else eventually as a 3rd partly extension down the line. Flarum is a bit more extensive and flexible even for still being in beta.
