Permissions...

Hi,

I want to lock down a tag and it's sub-tags to a certain group of users. Two questions:

When I set permissions on the primary tag, will the sub-tags inherit the permissions of the primary?

And secondly, When I try to set some of the permissions, I can't enable them for mods or admins, they are greyed out, as seen in this screenshot:

What's going on there?

If you mean what I think you do, then no, you'll have to set each permission manually.

Have you made sure those groups have view permission? (at the very top) would be helpful to see a full permission page screenshot.
