Save as Draft Text

It kills me when I type a long text and it accidentally gets deleted when I'm trying to post a topic or response due to a page refresh. This really takes the steam off me.

Is there anyway typed text can automatically go into draft mode when typing to avoid loss of text in case of mishap. Something obtainable like in Gmail or regular SMS. I hope my point is clear

But I've been thinking about this as well. A message rescue extension for when you manage to close a tab even with the "Are you sure" popup.

I've already restarted my computer a few times with Flarum posts or GitHub issues unpublished in one of the many tabs... I might give this a try ? .

Auto draft saving will be a great idea.
Fagrow upload is a great plugin but it's just that the pictures are not displayed in full mode!

Having draft capability would also suit people who have "async" post writing workflow. Meaning they start writing a post on day 1, then update it on day 3 and finish and publish it on day 5.

It'd be a workaround, but I wonder if it'd be possible to utilize Byōbu to create a private discussion with oneself, then un-privatize it once it's ready to publish. Of course, if this works, it'd only work for new posts and not replies.

UaMV yes that works. It's ugly, but it's a way to do that.
