  • Want to have a small extension, I would pay in Bitcoin

I am looking for developer which could create a small Flarum extension for me.

What is the extension about?
If a user places a character combination like [abc] or [bcd] etc in the discussion form, there should be called a webservice which retrieves data with the parameter placed between [ and ] like http://site.com/api/?data=abc or http://site.com/api/?data=bcd. The webservice returns a json response with two values which should be added into the post like "value1 value2"

I am willing to pay a small amount in Bitcoin if desired. Anyone who could implement this for me?

It probably work a little bit like if one post a twitter link here, then the links is transformed into a readable text like this https://discuss.flarum.org/d/3763-twitter-integration-test

I'm still looking for an developer. I contacted @th30n3 but he has not replied yet.
Anyone else who is interested to implement the extension. I think it should not be a big deal.

flarumr I'm available if you're interested. Contact me at https://clarkwinkelmann.com/flarum#extension-development

I don't usually work with bitcoins thought. We can discuss this.

I don't think it will be as simple as creating a MediaEmbed definition, because the markup is not a link, and it's not used to generate an iframe or such, but perform a request and parse its result inside Flarum.

It also cannot work in previews unless the API endpoint has the correct CORS headers, or if we proxy requests through Flarum or another proxy.

flarumr Hey, I have not received any mail from you at above mentioned email Id. Can you please send again? info[at]e-stonetech[dot]com

th30n3 Are you sure the email address exists? I received the following message from my mail provider:
