Mail not sending

I've tried many different configurations,

Driver: smtp
Host: smtp.yandex.com
Port: 465
Encryption: ssl

Driver: smtp
Host: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Encryption: ssl

and I've tried different port and encryption combinations, but everytime, it either gives me an error, or it says it has sent without actually sending. The first I have gotten to work with both telnet and swaks.

Those situations are more preferably over any errors. Can you check your spam folder? Also understand that Gmail for instance will not show any mails to yourself if you sent it from the same account.

What sender address did you use?

luceos spam has been checked, and I used noreply@ppsforum.com for the username and sender. the noreply email has been registered and everything on yandex.

WitheredAway I see no SPF records configured for that domain, meaning Gmail and other major mail services will simply decline mail coming from arbitrary sources, eg your server.
