My own translation extension - how to make it show in extensions tab?

Hello. I just copied flarum official English language pack, and translated it to Polish, also renamed all things in composer.json in extension folder, but it doesn't show in extensions tab in acp. What should I do? :/

In addition, if someone wants to create public Polish language extension, I can help him with translation. Extension available on forum right now is outdated as hell...

How did you write that extension, in the vendor folder by any chance?

That thread is ancient ? and using vendor to write your extension is not the best way to move forward if you want to publish it. Writing code in the vendor directory isn't smart either, because that directory is meant to be erasable at whim.

Well, I don't want to publish that at all, just to use it on my own. (due to I don't even know how to do it just for me, ehm, I'm not in a good way to publish it for everyone xD)

There is, by using a workbench. In your case you might call it an extensions, components, modules or translations folder. The process would remain the same though.

I also created workbench directory and copied my extension to it, but when I run "composer update" it says it can't find it. I did something wrong?

Try adding your extension to require section of composer.json file in project root folder,

Oh, wait. I have one more question - where will I find date language files? For example I have "Odpowiedział 3 days ago.", and I would like to have these time associated messages in Polish - "Odpowiedział 3 dni temu."
