Performance issue with Symfony SessionHandlerProxy

There is a performance issue which I can not solve. The problem is from Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Session\Storage\Proxy\SessionHandlerProxy::read. I'm using the default NativeFileSessionHandler.

There is a similar question , the SessionHandlerProxy::read() method is locked out of the session and the process is waiting for the session to unlock.

Any suggestions how to solve the issue? I'm totally new for Symfony, how to configure the SessionHandler to use Memcached instead of the NativeFileSessionHandler?

Is it a recurring issue with Flarum or does it only happen on a specific host ? This might be an issue with Flarum, in which case you should report it on GitHub (if it's not already reported !) and somebody will have a look at it.

If you want to try switching to memcached yourself you will have to dig into the source code. I'm not sure about Symfony skills, but you probably need some Laravel basics to change that ?

Note: maybe it's already implemented in Flarum, I have no idea ?

Changing to Memcached( in php.ini ) for session solved the issue.
