Flarum Has Issues Regenerating CSS File

You should run php flarum cache:clear and make sure Cloudflare or any other third party cache are emptied. The CSS files might regenerate with a different name, which might be why you're seeing 404s.

[deleted] Remove the files in assets via FTP then. Flarum will auto-regenerate them.

[deleted] That's ill-advised, as Flarum will regenerate them with impunity at certain times (such as when disabling/enabling an extension). The better route is to create an extension that adds whatever JS you need. As for CSS, you can add this in the admin control panel.

[deleted] Check the first page of any extension post here, it will include instructions. Generally this takes the form of composer require blah/flarum-ext-blah which is the command you'll need to input in terminal when you're located in the flarum root folder.

As for creating one, check out our dev tag for resources in creating some. There are some simple extensions you could follow, like @clarkwinkelmann's silly Rainbow BBCode extension, that are a good template for building your own. And if you get stuck, start a discussion in the Dev tag to get help.

If I had to guess, I'd say no. If you have composer access, I'd reinstall using composer, and give the new install a different database. Then when you're installed, edit config.php to point to the current database. Unless your install method messed with the database, it should be fine.

Otherwise, since you don't have much on your Flarum install, I'd say just reinstall and start over.

[deleted] If you're developing extensions I strongly suggest a local dev setup. You'll have a far better control over composer and the webserver. You can then use packagist or github to download install them on the server with composer.

If SSH it's working well, you can even send your local install to the remote server via FTP ?
