VikramBhaskaran Do we have instructions on building the actual website. CSS Seems to be broken. How do I compile the SASS and include them in the website. What else is missing?
Ralkage VikramBhaskaran what is your purpose for cloning flarum.github.io aka flarum.org? It is basically a custom Jekyll theme that is hosted via the flarum.github.io repository and can only be used on Github. In short, it is a Github Pages repository with a simple CNAME record to handle custom domain names. You can read up on GitHub Pages here.
Franz VikramBhaskaran Install Jekyll with gem install jekyll (Ruby and Rubygems is required), then run jekyll serve. That should do. ?
VikramBhaskaran Ralkage My inspiration for the same is the beautiful home page on flarum.org itself. I realised its a Jekyll theme and did a build which then generated the _sites folder with static code. However the CSS on the web page and the one checked in is slightly outdated.
Ralkage VikramBhaskaran you can always rip the HTML, CSS, and JS with ease using Httrack. It's what I would do in your situation if you don't want to go through the hassle.
Ralkage @MrbigWill please see: https://jekyllrb.com/ for more detailed information and also read the docs.
