Flarum + Hosting usage / cost

Hello!

I am curious if anyone has an instance of Flarum up with hundreds or thousands of users on DigitalOcean or any other cloud hosting system and can comment on usage / monthly server costs for hosting such a setup.

I design and develop modular synthesizer components and I am looking towards using Flarum as a product support forum, and possibly opening it up to other manufacturers to use as well.

Perhaps the Showcase your Flarum! topic will keep you busy until someone replies here? There are quite a few instances of Flarum with heavy traffic on all different hosting providers.
