Future installation wishes

@Toby in the future will be great that we dont need SSH, Composer or edits in server configuration. Easy instalation, like wordpress, ipboard, etc..

You're not the first to mention it and certainly will not be the last.

The intention is to make the installation method as easy as possible which comes down to the core idea of the developers. But it will all arrive in due course. The priority is to get Flarum as stable as possible and in saying that a stable enough product to offer the community and its customers.

If you do a quick search of this forum you'll see numerous discussions that go into much greater detail and whilst you're at it have a look at The New & Improved Flarum Roadmap to see where the minds of the developers are at.

Prosperous Thank you for your answer, I just think that maybe more noob programmers (like me) will be interested in testing flarum, create simples complements, design modifications etc if we can install uploading the files via ftp with a few clicks and not edits in server configurations.. (changes that can affect other proyects in the same server)

Fusta Whilst that would be great, being a noob when it comes to server side stuff myself, I am happy enough to wait until full release of the forum software until we get that ? rather the other stuff got done first so we can get a stable package.

Fusta Completely understand where you're coming from. There are a couple of hosting services offering their services here on the forum so may be you could get in touch with them and hope that they can give you a week long package for free or something to test out both their service and Flarum?

I'm just thinking outside of the square but it's worth a try. At the moment it would be the only option for you apart from hosting things yourself on a package that allows SSH.
