you can't instal flarum in root

Nioo I think it requires mbstring in your system. You can install it by running this command :

sudo apt install php-mbstring # apt-get can be used too

FebriTriHarmoko that is not true, the composer root message is a warning at best.

Nioo the bad thing about composer is that the most useful entries most often start at the bottom. It seems you're missing the php mbstring extension.
