Franz glad its not going to be added to core. Forums needs to be more simple and less cluttered. If the base is strong the community can extend it as they please.

christicehurst i know from inivision power board that they have plugin which allows users to create blogs,
incorporated in forum, but never really saw the point of it. maybe if there's really large community.
otherwise, i somehow think that people stopped writing blogs.
tho, maybe i'm wrong.

I just don't see the point of it. I know a lot of forums have this but.. why?
It's a extra feature that's not really needed (IMO) but as always, deserves to exist as a extension.

ameo Blogs are still very popular. The thing that pains me is that Flarum is trying to be modern and different and than people come in and suggest ideas that drags it back ten years.

They are both two popular forms of software but I don't want a kettle and toaster all in one.
