Import a large vBulletin or not

Hey guys,
this doubt pays me... I would like if possible and especially if recommended and that it has a good result, import a sql file from an old Forum that was initially IPB and later vBulletin. Has anyone already done this with a satisfactory result?

You have to look for an import script, copy records from vBulletin to Flarum via manual requests, or find somebody who will do it for you. I'm not sure if a vBulletin importer exists or not.

You can't simply load another database into Flarum, it's not compatible ?

to understand, does not exist for any kind of other forums?

wblz there are a few import scripts floating around here on the forum. The usual path is [start forum]->phpBB->Flarum.

Well, so if i am adding my sql to phpBB convert - export and it is done

wblz you would convert your current forum db to phpBB using an existing tool for that. Then you would convert that db to Flarum using the script.

The old forum was stopped due to lack of adaptability with php.
Available export sql files executed a few years ago

I was thinking of creating a basic Import extension that could be expanded by adding core logic and then allowing additional importers to be added. Though it is very farfetched and security would be more of an issue if anything.
