FYI I wrote an importer to convert an existing (custom made) message board to Flarum.
If anyone is interested, let me know (gwillem@gmail.com) and I'll put a more generic version on Github. I used peewee/pwiz to autogen models and some logic to create unique "dummy" users in Flarum (the previous forum didn't have proper accounts).
