Does flarum offer, or a extension, that will allow me to completely lock down the forum to people who aren't registered? As in they'll be redirected to a login screen page instead of the forum list.

Also is there an extension to offer invites for users to use/send out?

This is pretty similar to what you want, albeit not maintained and out of date.

Mine is locked. No spiders or anything can grab info unless they register.

All you need to do it set it to members only.
Then you use the Landing Page extension to create your public facing landing page.
