Hard to install Flarum

Hello, I tried to install Flarum under my 3 VPSes( Apache (with mod_rewrite), Nginx, or Lighttpd ). And I installed all the Mods and Extensions Requirements.

But always remained me that "GD Extensions Required" Or Blank Installation Page. And I 100% ensure that the GD Extensions installed Correctly.

PHP sometimes has different configuration files for console and web. Please make sure that you enable the extension for the right one - you may also have to restart your server.

Franz Hello,Franz. Thanks for your respond. I checked the Extensions many times. But still not work.
I am going to re-install again.🙁

aptitude install php5-gd; chown -R www-data /var/flarum

I gave up already after overnight for trying to setup Flarum on Vultr and DO.
Firstly. May you help us make Flarum can install easier like other open source?

AndyNguyen If you're using a VPS, you should look at several of the installation scripts that make it easy.

Can I install it in shared hosting ? Does shared hosting provides command line access ?

kishoresahoo Some do and some don't. You'll have to speak to your host just in case. You could even ask and see if they can install it for you if your host doesn't give you SSH access.

I confirmed with siteground that their middle and top shared hosting plans allow for ssh connection and the ability to install composer so you can install Flarum.
