PHPLess Cache Problem encountered.

shall I clear the cache or increase cache size allowed?
is there any cache size settings available in config.php?

Just cleared all storage/sub-directories contents except formatter directory.
Also increased memory limit from 32M to 64M in PHP.ini and user.ini.
Now the error is gone.

Why is Flarum consuming so much memory when it claims to be the-light-weight champion?

I don't know where the "light-weight champion" thing comes from and whether this is a legitimate question or you're trying to imply something, but whenever you clear an application's cache, it has to be rebuilt. That operation uses resources, more than a normal page. Similarly, compiling a program often requires more memory than running it.

Note that the default memory limit for PHP is 128 MB.

JoshyPHP clearing caches fixed the issue. Because the cache was old as of Flarum install date August 7, 2017.

While the latest posts were of Oct 2017. Cache auto-clear features must be incorporated.

This project is nearly frozen. No new development & updates to the core.
Since 2015, it's still in Beta and has not matured in nearly 3 years now. It's gonna be 2018 after 17 days approx. due to time zones differences.

I like the software myself & my client too. But the instability of the software after 3 years is raising concerns if we should use it further or think of other conventional alternatives in PHP like PhpBB, vBulletin or Something like that.

Memory cleanup is not good at all. It should rebuild caches and update them automatically in the core cache & memory management packages.

Me & My client love the software. It'd improve, update and mature now.

After this project, I will be more than willing to contribute to the core development.

By the grace of Allah! If had time, I will certainly contribute my time and efforts to improve the project.

I'm sorry but everything I read in this thread is either wrong, ignorant or misguided. I look at the project on GitHub and I see several commits from several authors in the last 24 hours. GMail was in Beta for 5 years, I don't remember people leaving it for Hotmail. If you think that phpBB is a better fit then by all means that's what you should use. vBulletin is a name I haven't seen used unironically in years. People who want to pay for a forum software usually go with XenForo. If your webhost limits PHP to 32 MB then you should consider finding a better host.

with 64mb you can barely run the flarum core, and the databases. That's not going to happen also Flarum is consuming less memory IT is light-weight and what they mean by light-weight in the compassion is for website size.
