Official Docs for Extension Development are errorneous!

It says on http://flarum.org/docs/extend/start/ there's an extensions directory in docs to quick start extension development but there is no such directory except \vendor\flarum\ where extensions reside.
Here a developer should create his extension directory like flarum-ext-EXTENSION-NAME.

The current docs are pretty much outdated, but they make no mention of the old /extensions directory.

They are still usable though, you can also grab ideas from current extensions out there to jumpstart your adventure!

Getting Started

Alright, enough chit-chat — let’s jump right in and make a basic “Hello World” extension for Flarum. You’ll need to have Flarum up and running to do this, so if you haven’t installed Flarum yet, go and do that now.

All done? Okay. We’ll start by giving your extension a place to live. Browse to the extensions directory and create a new folder. Give it a kebab-case name with the format: vendor-package, where vendor is the vendor name and package is the name of your extension.

Developers should start by creating their own extension directory as follows:

\vendor\flarum\*flarum-ext-YOUR-EXTENSION_NAME*
