Will 2GB Ram hold 200 concurrent users smoothly?

1 Core CPU, 2GB Cloud Server, will this be able to hold 200 concurrent users smoothly, as there is only 1 users?
Or does anyone have some experiences of the user scale that such a server can hold?

tarvos21 It will hold smoothly, as long as you disable the search box. Good news: search performance is being worked on right now!

All depends on the activity of those 200 concurrent users and which flarum extensions are you using.

If the 200 users are only browsing site without performing searchs, creating topics, etc... you will be safe.

Anyway i have my doubts because my forum never had that traffic, so i can't confirm.

I don't know much about memory usage, but it seems to me that PHP barely uses any memory, what I would be concerned about is the database's memory usage.
I would think 2GB is more than enough, but you never know. Just hope your users don't all search something at the same time ?

Memory isn't the issue. If you have 200 users online that make a request every 30 seconds the average vcore will buckle and response time will increase. It should be manageable if that's your peak online users but you'll want to look into going with a 2 vcore for any more traffic than that.
